Racking

Since I use my Bachman so frequently, especially when solo top-roping with my SoloAid, I just daisy chain and rack it with its own oval and autolocking biner.
NOTES: The Bachman knot works best with oval carabiners. It works poorly with biners that have non-circular cross-sections (e.g., HotWires). If I have to use the Bachman oval for something else, I can use a Kleimheist (K) for my backup knot. The Kleimheist locks tighter and sticks more than the Bachman but doesn't require that extra biner. I never use a Prussik for rappel backup--it's too hard to unlock when weighted.
