Canon EOS SLR 24-85mm f3.5/f4.5 wide angle zoom
Here's a test roll of film I shot trying to figure out what
my new 24-85mm f3.5/4.5 wide angle zoom was capable of.
The wide angle 24mm gives climbing pictures a sense of
depth and height that's hard to get with a narrower lens.
The 85 zoom gives you enough play to frame different
pictures without making the lens too big and heavy.
I wish I had a faster lens so I could use slower film
(I mostly use EliteChrome ASA400 slides and punch up
the saturation in Adobe Photoshop), but I'm otherwise
happy with the lens.
Oh, and that's my son in the background. He's playing
Nintendo 64. He jumps around a lot, so that's why
he's a little ghostly in the longer exposures.
