Here's a test roll of film I shot trying to figure out what my new 24-85mm f3.5/4.5 wide angle zoom was capable of. The wide angle 24mm gives climbing pictures a sense of depth and height that's hard to get with a narrower lens. The 85 zoom gives you enough play to frame different pictures without making the lens too big and heavy. I wish I had a faster lens so I could use slower film (I mostly use EliteChrome ASA400 slides and punch up the saturation in Adobe Photoshop), but I'm otherwise happy with the lens.

Oh, and that's my son in the background. He's playing Nintendo 64. He jumps around a lot, so that's why he's a little ghostly in the longer exposures.
